Two schools in Sofia hosted the already traditional meetings-discussions of ESC related to the prospects for professional realization in training through work.

At the Sofia Vocational High School of Tourism, more than 50 students completing their secondary vocational education openly shared how and why they made their motivated choice of tourism specialisms - hotel and restaurant management as well as guided tours. Everyone is driven by the desire to acquire a profession to ensure good realization and financial security. For them, tourism is the choice of the new generation. They recommended that their school leadership increase the hours for studying the second language, better interrelation between theory and practice, practical fieldwork at the initial stage of preparation, and the introduction of paid internships by signing individual contracts with employers. Everyone was firmly convinced that they would continue their education in higher education institutions. The majority of the students who attended the meeting prefer Bulgarian universities and are preparing to specialize further in the field of tourism. Some of them will move to medicine, information technology, psychology. Students also emphasized that during their studies in higher education institutions they will work using the acquired secondary education qualification to financially support themselves. At the end of the discussion, the director of the school engineer Antoinette Dzhoneva thanked the ESC for the initiative and expressed readiness for future meetings.

In the National Trade and Banking School, the meeting was attended by students in their 11th year of the schooling with specialisms - banking and e-commerce. They were active in the discussions and showed awareness and economic culture. The young people made interesting suggestions related to introduction of more practical training, new equipment in the school, extracurricular activities with sporting and recreational character, introduction of a new test system and electronic textbooks, interactive presentation of the teaching material (presentations) and provision of lists of additional literature on special subjects. At the meeting with interest and commitment, the students unveiled their career development plans, which featured a great deal of applicability and focus on leading economic professions in Bulgaria and abroad. All students united around the message that education is the key to successful professional realization.
