SECOND ESC STUDY ON MIGRATION ATTITUDES OF SCHOOL GRADUATES

The Economic and Social Council met graduates from two schools in Sofia within a study devoted to migration attitudes among students completing their secondary education. The ESC conducted this study for a second year.

The aim of these meetings was to be held a conversation between ESC members and experts on one hand and students on the other on the improvement of secondary education and the student’s criteria for defining the wished first salary.

Themeetings were presided by Yanka Takeva – ESC Member and President of Bulgarian Teachers' Trade Union and proff. Lalko Dulevski – President of ESC. Both meetings were attended by the directors of the schools. The Deputy Minister of Education Diyan Stamatov was a guest at 119th school as well.

For now the ESC’s study on migration attitudes among secondary school graduates is not completed but after summarizing the results from the whole country, ESC will present it for a public debate, for a second time since last year.
